The Best MCU Easter Eggs You Never Noticed Before
There's almost a countless number of Easter eggs scattered across the movies of the MCU some are subtle, while others are far more obvious and although it's almost impossible to list them all, these are a few that you might have just missed.
for years on end, the worlds of the Avengers and the x men have been kept separate on the big screen thanks to a conflict in usage rights between various studios will the Avengers assembled at Marvel Studios. The mutants had their own adventures over at Fox, but that doesn't mean there haven't been any knowing winks exchange between the two.
During one scene in Iron Man, Tony Stark conducts a test flight of his new armor for the first time and decides to see just how high he can fly. He asked his AI assistant Jarvis what the altitude record is for a very specific plane. The SR-71 Blackbird was used as a model for the jet flown to missions by the X-Men and as all often been referred to as the Blackbird whenever it's not being called the X-Jet. Now, Iron Man can't exactly specify that Stark was referring to Charles Xavier is private super plane, but it was a nice not in the direction of x men fans.
The Marvel hero of the Golden Age
Captain America The First Avenger takes Marvel fans back to World War 2, not only the era in which Steve Rogers became Captain America, but also the time during which the character was created in real life. But he wasn't the only superhero to come out of this period. During the stark Expo scene, it is easily t spot this another classic Marvel character who was created back when the company was still known as Timely Comics.
As Steve, Bucky and girls walk through the Expo, they pass a glass display case with a costume in it labeled Dr. Phineas Horton presents The Synthetic Man. Horton is the scientists who created the original Human Torch all the way back in Marvel Comics issue 1.This particular shot establishes that some version of him existed in the MCU at some point, so maybe one day we'll flashback again and get the full story of Synthetic man and his adventures.
The Multiverse exists in MCU
the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be a world unto itself, but it exists in the greater realm of Marvel Entertainment, which itself contains a vast multiverse of various worlds featuring many ultimate versions of its characters.
The MCU even has its own designated reality number 199999 displaces it within the greater Marvel Universe, meaning that whether we'll ever see it or not. There's a cosmic link between the cinematic versions of these characters and their prime continuity, comic book counterparts. That link was further emphasized in Thor The Dark World when Eric selvig laid out his understanding of reality on a giant chalkboard during his time in a mental institution, among his scribblings are the words 616 universe the official designation of the main Marvel Comics Universe.
The Resurrection Of The Winter Soldier
Although Stanley's cameos in Marvel movies have become practically legendary Lee isn't the only Marvel luminary to pop up in the MCU at one point or another. One of the most notable instances of his fame came during Captain America The Winter Soldier.
As Alexander Pierce's questioning the Winter Soldier, a team of handlers are standing around the room. One of them seen on the left is Ed Brubaker an Eisner Award winning comic book writer responsible for resurrecting Bucky Barnes as the Winter Soldier, and Captain America number 1 back in 2005. Before Brubaker joined Captain America. Bucky had been dead for decades and was long considered one of the rare comics characters who would never returned from the grave. Without Ed Brubaker the MCU would be a very different place in deep so it's nice to see him get a little moment of recognition here.
The Speech from the Ages
some easter eggs are so obscure that you'll only recognize them. If you carefully read one very specific comic book. That's the case here with this gem from Captain America Civil War. At Peggy Carter's funeral. Sharon delivers the eulogy and passes on some words of wisdom who aren't once shared with her,"Even if the whole world is telling you to move. It is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye and say no".
It's a powerful moment for certain comic book readers. However, it was made all the more powerful by the fact that it's a speech lifted largely from amazing Spider Man issue 537, a comic tying into the original Civil War event in which a very similar speech is given by none other than Captain America himself screenwriters Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeeley definitely did their homework with this one.
The Reference from the Marvel TV shows
Some easter eggs may begin as an amusing idea, but sadly, just don't come together and fail to ever reach a satisfying payoff in the MCU were some parts of the universe or attempting to work with the same concepts as others. This can happen a lot. For example, it was the case with one particular hidden gem in Dr. Strange which has been semi read, caused by the events of hulu's runaways TV series at various points.
In the film, we see glimpses of the Hong Kong sanctum, where sorcerers work to guard that particular corner of the world from a host of magical threats. Among them is a staff wielding character named Tina Minoru played in Dr. Strange by Linda Louise Dwan,we only know her name because she's listed in the credits but Minoru happens to be the mother of Nico Minoru, one of the main stars of Runaways will eventually wield mother staff herself. Of course, Tina Minoru was recast for Runways. But it's still a nice touch.
Thanos a Farmer
Avengers Infinity War is very loosely based on the 1991 Marvel Comics event series. The Infinity Gauntlet while the plot of the movie differs significantly from its origin story. In film there's many nods and winks to the text.
the moment that made gauntlet fans happy. However, one that really stands out comes in the film's very last shot when Thanos sits down at his humble farm to watch the sunrise on a grateful universe. As he walks through the hut you'll see something standing amid the crops growing outside.A scarecrow made from from his old battle armor at the end of Infinity Gauntlet then knows gives up his quest for ultimate power after the battle, takes a farming and makes a scarecrow with his armor. These may be two very different ways of arriving at the same image, but it's a great reference.

Who is S.H.I.E.L.D.???
S.H.I.E.L.D. is a fictional espionage, special law enforcement, and counter-terrorism agency appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in Strange Tales #135 (Aug. 1965), it often deals with paranormal and superhuman threats.
The acronym originally stood for Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage and Law-Enforcement Division. It was changed in 1991 to Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate. Within the various films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as multiple animated and live-action television series, the backronym stands for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.
Usually led by Nick Fury as executive director (although he reports to a twelve-member council, whose identities even he does not know), this organization often operates as much as a covert agency as a quasi-military one, initially depicted as affiliated with the United States government. Later, S.H.I.E.L.D. was depicted as under the jurisdiction of the United Nations, with vast technological resources at its disposal, with U.N. General Assembly Resolutions and legislation passed in signatory nations aiding many of their operations. However, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been inconsistently portrayed as under U.S., rather than U.N., control - for instance, in Astonishing X-Men #3, Nick Fury explains S.H.I.E.L.D.'s inaction during an incident of genocide by stating that it did not occur on American soil.
Who are the Inhumans??
The Inhumans are a fictional group of superhumans appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
The comic book series has usually focused more specifically on the adventures of the Inhuman Royal Family, and many people associate the name "Inhumans" with this particular team of super-powered characters.
The Inhumans first appeared in Fantastic Four #45 (December 1965), though members Medusa and Gorgon appeared in earlier issues of that series (#36 and #44, respectively). Their home, the city of Attilan, was first mentioned years earlier, in a Tuk the Caveboy story written and drawn by Jack Kirby that appeared in Captain America Comics #1 (March 1941). The city was described as the home of a race that was evolutionarily advanced when human beings were still in the Stone Age. They were created by the Kree DNA.
The Inhuman Royal Family have been adapted to numerous Marvel animated series and video games over the years. Inhuman characters were introduced in live-action in the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., while the Inhuman Royal Family are featured in the TV series Inhumans, which premiered in 2017.

When Will The Avengers: Infinity War Trailer revealed by MARVEL ?
Avengers: Infinity War promises to be the biggest cinematic event of 2018. It is set to unite characters from every corner of the Marvel Marvel Cinematic Universe from the Guardians of the Galaxy to Captain America (Chris Evans) into one epic film. And fans are eager for news, scouring set pictures and casting announcements for clues of what’s to come.
A lucky group of fans at both D23 and San Diego Comic-Con were able to get a glimpse of the first footage from Avengers: Infinity War which was leaked online shortly after and left the internet buzzing. Of particular interest was Captain America sporting a beard, which was later seen in a concept art poster also from Comic-Con, and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, despite the leaks, Marvel did not release anything official online.
The big question remains: when will a trailer for Infinity War be released to the public? Looking back on the previous Avengers films could give us a clue. Both Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron had trailers that were released in October, the 11th and the 22nd respectively. The Age of Ultron trailer drop was supposed to coincide with an episode of Agents of SHIELD but was leaked online a week early. With that information in mind, could we see a trailer as early as next month? Agents of SHIELD won’t return until later in the fall, but presumably, Marvel could air an Infinity War trailer with an episode of Inhumans– something which could help boost the ratings, if needed, for the already struggling series.
Agents of SHIELD season 5 is set to air after the 8 episode run of Inhumans which premieres on September 29th. If all 8 episodes air back to back this means the first season of Inhumans will finish on November 17th. SHIELD probably won’t start airing their new episodes on November 24th due to the Thanksgiving holiday. This means Marvel could instead release the Infinity War trailer that day during Jimmy Kimmel Live!– which is the same date and place they released the trailer for Captain America: Civil War. The films are already similar because they are the third in their franchise with casts from multiple films attached and a huge amount of hype surrounding them. Plus Kimmel has become Marvel’s go-to place for trailer announcements recently with the first trailers for both Doctor Strange and Spider-Man: Homecoming premiering on the late-night show.
A third option Marvel has is to wait to release the Infinity War trailer alongside Thor: Ragnarok in the beginning of November. The third Thor film doesn’t need to build any more excitement- it’s already one of the most anticipated films of the year- but if fans need even more incentive to see it a trailer announcement could do it. However, it would make more sense to attach the trailer to Disney and Pixar’s Coco later in November to draw more fans to an original film rather than one that is already almost sure to be a box office success.
No matter when or where the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is released it is sure to take the internet by storm. Marvel’s marketing is consistently strong and they know how to get people talking. Part of the fun of being a Marvel fan is the anticipation that builds between each film and the willingness to wait for each new piece of news.

James Gunn Reveals The Main Character of GOTG Vol. 3 And It’s Not Star-Lord
James Gunn, writer-director of Guardians of the Galaxy (GOTG) has been busy teasing the third movie in all his interviews. He is increasingly becoming one of the most sought-after people as he is telling fans what to expect, behind-the-scenes at Marvel and sometimes even stoke controversy. He will oversee the phase 4 of the MCU.He recently revealed the behind-the-scenes story regarding a certain post-credit scene. He literally had to fight Marvel for Adam Warlock appearance. This is what he had to say in an interview with CinemaBlend:
“I had to fight for Adam in the post-credits sequence. Because I really thought that’s where that should go. And I thought one of the main reasons to have the Sovereign in the movie was to give audiences the hint that Adam Warlock is coming. That was one of the reasons for them to exist. And I wrote that post-credits sequence in the first draft of the script. And then there were a lot of questions about whether or not we should put that in there because people were going to expect Adam Warlock in Infinity War. So one of the things I promised, which I do all of the time on Twitter, is letting everyone know that Adam Warlock is not going to be in Avengers 3 or Avengers 4. It’s just not going to happen. Because I didn’t want people to have false expectations of what they thought was going to happen with Adam.”
This revelation had come immediately after Ian Joyner released Adam Warlock concept art which he claims to very close to what is being used in the film. It’s a pity that we won’t get to see Adam Warlock until MCU phase 4 as he won’t be featured in Avengers Infinity War or Avengers 4. It’s clear that he won’t show up in Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp or Captain Marvel. So all those Adam Warlock fans gotta wait some more years before you get an actual glimpse of the iconic comic-book character.
One of the criticisms of the GOTG has come from the fans of Rocket Raccoon. He is clearly an indispensable member of the team, in fact, Star-Lord once told him that he is the best tactical mind he’s ever met. Rocket Raccoon will be the one who will drive the narrative forward. James Gunn recently spoke at Hasbro HASCON about the future of the characters of GOTG. He was asked about Rocket and he had this to say:
“As you know, the MCU is one way of processing these characters. 616 is a different one. We are going to learn more about where Rocket comes from in the coming sagas. It’s going to be a little different from the comics. We already know a lot about from where he came from. It’s a little bit more horrible than what it is in the comics when you come down to it. We will learn more about that.”
Rocket is a genetically modified Raccoon with a passion for weapons and dangerous things. He had tortured the past as he was experimented upon to become a Chief Law Officer on HalfWorld (a colony for the mentally ill). Rocket managed to cure some portion of the colony their mental illness and then joined GOTG. He will be next seen in Avengers 3, Avengers 4 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
James Gunn dropped a bombshell in another interview in which he said GOTG Vol. 3 will set up the next 10 or 20 years of MCU. This is what he said:
“One of the things I’m doing with creating Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it will take place after the next two Avengers movies, and it will help to set up the next 10, 20 years of Marvel movies. It’s going to really expand the cosmic universe. We’re going to be setting up new characters. It will be the last movie of this version of Guardians of the Galaxy.”
This means that the focus of Marvel Phase 4 and 5 will not be Avengers, there will be an entirely new team comprising of young and the old, the battle-tested and rookies who will take on the future threats. Kevin Feige (President, Marvel Studios) also teased the phase 4 of Marvels Cinematic Universe and is touting it as something never seen before in Marvel films. He said:
“I think you look at the comics as a guide, although some titles get rebooted or re-launched, the narrative exist on a never-ending continuum”.
He further said that Marvel’s phase 4 will mark a new beginning and a very distinct chapter comprising of the finality of all the previous phases. It would probably include The Inhumans, Black Panther sequel, Captain Marvel sequel, Dr. Strange sequel, Guardians of the galaxy 3 etc. One thing which is absolutely clear looking at the roster of superhero movies in the pipeline is that we will see a huge influx of mysticism and magic in Marvel movies in phase 4. The big villain could be Mephisto who is a powerful cosmic villain who can fill the void post-Thanos extinction.
The threequel of GOTG may be released sooner than you would expect. James Gunn also revealed another interesting insight. At the end of GOTG Vol. 2 Peter Quill’s adoptive father Yondu gave him a Zune to replace his ancient Walkman. Till now in the first two volumes, the songs are inspired by his mother (Laura Haddock) but in the third movie, they will be choices of his father. This is what he said:
“Well yes, you’re correct. Volume 1 and Volume 2 have been Meredith’s song choices, her communication to Peter. In Volume 3, it will be Yondu communicating to Peter.”
The characters of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 include – Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Baby Groot (Vin Diesel), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Kraglin (who joined forces with Guardians but was not an official member). CHEERS!
The New Thor Ragnarok IMAX Poster Confirms Fan Theory
Thor Ragnarok is the upcoming Marvel movie which is the third installment of the Thor franchise. It is inspired by Jack Kirby’s Ragnarok comic wherein Asgard is burned to the ground and rebuilt from the ashes. The mighty Thor will confront an empowered Loki who has gained absolute control of Asgard while he was busy fighting Ultron and powerful forces of Hela who command legions of the dead. He must defeat them to pave the way for the rebirth of Asgardian society. One Marvel fan aptly described the movie as “The way Winter Soldier was for Captain America, Ragnarok is for Thor.”
The main cast includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor, God of Thunder), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Hopkins (Odin) and Idris Elba (Heimdall) who are set to reprise their roles. The ensemble cast includes big names such as two-time Oscar award winner Cate Blanchett (Queen Elizabeth, Blue Jasmine, Carol etc) as the powerful new villain Hela (leader of Doomeo i.e Asgardian Hell); Jeff Goldblum (Independence Day, Jurassic Park) as the eccentric grandmaster who is an elder of the universe, he is sometimes called as “Inter-galactic Cosmic Pleasure-seeker”, he possessed the mind-gem until Thanos took it away from him; Tessa Thomson (Creed, Selma) as the classic hero Valkyrie who may play Thor’s love interest; Karl Urban (Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Star Trek trilogy) as Skurge who is a powerful warrior and Mark Ruffalo (Avengers, Foxcatcher, Spotlight) as Bruce Banner/ Hulk.
The new IMAX poster has the same color palate as previous posters featuring major characters of the movie including gladiator Hulk. The God of Thunder is standing front and center with his evil brother Loki and Asgardian warrior Valkyrie. He is wielding two massive swords instead of his trademark, iconic hammer Mjolnir.
In the first official trailer released by Marvel, Cate Blanchett’s character Hela is seen holding Mjolnir. The details of the plot indicate that Thor will part with his hammer before being sent to Planet Sakaar. At first, fans thought that they will learn if Hela is worthy of the realm’s most powerful object or she is just ruler of the afterlife who is unworthy of greatness. But what would really happen is that she will crush this hammer with her bare hands.
Previously, the international poster for Thor Ragnarok showed Hela towering over everyone as if she is this gigantic threat looming over Thor’s head, so much so that he needs a bad-ass team of warriors to take her on. It was a Japanese poster that used bright and dynamic color scheme which is in stark contrast with darker posters for the Marvel movies that we are used to seeing. The fact that mighty Thor needs an assembly of cosmic heroes including Valkyrie, Loki, Hulk etc. to take on Hela shows how powerful she really is.
Marvel Studios are now ramping up its marketing campaign for Thor 3 and released a new TV spot which has mighty Thor putting together a team of Asgardian warriors against Cate Blanchett’s Hela to save the Kingdom of Asgard. This new teaser was uploaded on Youtube by Tales Productions where we see Thor and Bruce Banner interacting, Thor and Valkyrie preparing for war, Jeff Goldblum Grandmaster’s new shots and action scene featuring Hela. A new behind-the-scenes footage came out which sheds light on the character of Hela. Another audio clip came out where Mark Ruffalo is saying “Cate Blanchett’s character is the worst of the worst, totally evil.”
We know that Thor and Gladiator Hulk will battle it out in the arena, they would survive and would go on a “cosmic road-trip”. But their plans to save Asgard from Hela’s forces will take a massive beating and Asgard will be devastated in a huge battle. In comics, once she possessed Twilight sword and threatened to destroy all nine realms. As a result, she was banished by King Odin.
Recently, a picture was released which pointed to the possibility of Dr. Strange showing up in the movie. It was confirmed in the post-credits scene of Doctor Strange that Dr. Strange will help Thor in Ragnarok. It seems Thor will travel to Sanctum Santorum in Greenwich Village, New York to learn more about Infinity stones. It is also possible that he needs to know how to travel through realms something which Dr. Strange has mastered through magic and mystical arts. Further, in the Japanese trailer of Thor Ragnarok, we see Dr. Strange and he is issuing a dire warning to Thor. He said: “Thor, I sense a great change in your future. Destiny has dire plans for you, my friend, to which Thor responds, I have dire plans for destiny.”
The movie will be more action-packed and it will also be the shortest ever Marvel movie. In continuing with the traditions of Thor movies, Kenneth Branagh’s Thor was 114 minutes, Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World was 112 minutes long but Thor Ragnarok will just have 100 minutes run time. Taika Waititi said to Collider:
“The cut right now, I reckon it’s about 100 minutes. It’s not gonna be a very, very long film. I think that stories are better when you leave them wanting more, and this film moves at a clip, it’s got stuff happening all the time. I think people are still gonna feel exhausted by the end; they’ve been on this big journey and stuff, so I don’t think we need the film to be three hours”.
From the look and feel of it, it seems there are all the ingredients present in the movie to become a huge blockbuster. The movie Thor Ragnarok will hit theatres on November 3, 2017.
The main cast includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor, God of Thunder), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Hopkins (Odin) and Idris Elba (Heimdall) who are set to reprise their roles. Stan Lee efforts to bring X-Men back to MCU !
If you are a fan of marvel like me you feel sad of thinking that X-men can’t make its way to the MCU.
They can play a huge role in making MCU from awesome to super awesome. But not only us, even the creator of big marvel faces like hulk iron man and much more, Stan Lee is trying is best to bring back the many fan favorite character X-men and fantastic four (At last they are going to their best representation on screen the silver screen.Stan Lee has said in one of their interviews that fans need not worry as “sooner or later” the movie right to al marvel characters including the X-men and Fantastic four, will eventually return to Marvel Studios. Now all the best things are going to happen like Wolverine will fight alongside the avenger, Deadpool and Spider-man the best bromance will be seen on the silver screen much more as Marvel has the right of some Character and only some are left. The X-men will work in the same universe with the Avengers and Spider-man. For some not so hardcore fan of the marvel are thinking what will be changed only some new characters, no there would be so many changes that only some can imagine, I am going to list few of them but first, let me tell you a brief history of them as only then you can understand my points
X-men first appeared in the series x-men issue 1 in September 1963. They are among the most recognizable and successful intellectual properties of Marvel Comics. The X-Men are mutants, a subspecies of humans who are born with superhuman abilities. The X-Men fight for peace and equality between normal humans and mutants in a world where anti-mutant bigotry is fierce and widespread. They are led by Charles Xavier, also known as Professor X, a powerful mutant telepath who can control and read minds. Their archenemy is Magneto, a powerful mutant with the ability to generate and control magnetic fields. Professor X and Magneto have opposing views and philosophies regarding the relationship between mutants and humans. While Professor X works towards peace and understanding between mutants and humans, Magneto views humans as a threat and believes in taking an aggressive approach against them, though he has found himself working alongside the X-Men from time to time.
Professor X is the founder of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters at a location commonly called the X-Mansion, which recruits mutants from around the world. Located in Westchester County, New York, the X-Mansion is the home and training site of the X-Men. The founding five members of the X-Men who appear in The X-Men #1 (September 1963) are Angel (Archangel), Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, and Marvel Girl (Jean Grey); Professor X and Magneto also made their first appearances in The X-Men #1. Since then, dozens of mutants from various countries and diverse backgrounds have held membership as X-MenSome of the changes we would see in the Marvel universe are
More variety of superpower and superhero and the best part is they don’t need any screen time to show how they get their power as they are born with it. Thus, many new superheroes can be introduced in only one movie hence increase enjoyment The biggest problem with MCU is lack of appealing villain (except Thanos). If this deal happens then we get the best MCU villains like Magneto, Doctor Doom and much more you can’t even if aren’t are super hardcore comic book fans.More and more story arc like the house of M and Avengers v/s x-men, and my personal favorite Deadpool kills the marvel universe. This would increase the awesomeness level of marvel to infinity.
Remove from one plot hole, the origin of the Quicksilver and the scarlet witch in the not complete clarify. Many think it’s due to the fact that there is contact with mind stone but this does not say they can get that power as it has the power of controlling mind it can help in encouraging their mind to use its power but can’t give them power.

Thor: Ragnarok Will Finally Reveal The Relationship Status of Thor
The Marvel movies have attempted almost everything from high octane action to sci-fi to fantasy & adventure. But if there is one thing that Marvel has stayed clear of is the serious relationship drama in their movies. Marvel feels that’s not what fans expect from them so they have avoided it this far. But in Thor: Ragnarok, they have to address the relationship status between Thor and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and reveal how they split up and they will exactly do just that.
Thor: Ragnarok is the upcoming Marvel movie which will directly lead into the Avengers Infinity War. It is inspired by Jack Kirby’s Ragnarok comic wherein Asgard is burned to the ground and rebuilt from the ashes. The God of Thunder will confront an empowered Loki who has gained absolute control of Asgard while he was busy fighting Ultron and the evil forces of Hela who command legions of the dead. He must defeat them to pave the way for the rebirth of Asgardian society. One fan aptly described the movie as “The way Winter Soldier was for Captain America, Ragnarok is for Thor.”
Chris Hemsworth had an interview with Screen Rant where he revealed that he is totally smitten by Tessa Thompson’s character Valkyrie in a very different way as compared to Jane. Here’s what he had to say:
“It’s like Thor’s meeting his hero! And he’s absolutely smitten by her and because of her history, and being a Valkyrie and all of that. But she’s also this beautiful woman so he’s kind of caught on guard. And she can, you know, she could beat the s*** out of him if she wanted. So I think he hasn’t come up against that very often. It certainly wasn’t the case with Jane. There was a whole different affection and love there. So that was another, you know, ‘How can we make that different from the previous one?'”
Natalie Portman has confirmed it that she is done with Thor and Marvel movies and she will not be coming back. Fans thought that maybe Lady Sif will fill the void and become a major love interest of Thor but that didn’t happen. They have now introduced Valkyrie, an Asgardian warrior, which is what the franchise may actually need at this point. How will the story tackle the split up of Jane and Thor? According to Chris Hemsworth, they will have fun with it. He said:
“Umm, no we have this, we have some… some very respectable fun with how that relationship may have come to an end.”
Marvel Studios is now ramping up its marketing campaign for Thor 3 and released a new TV spot which has mighty Thor putting together a team of Asgardian warriors against Cate Blanchett’s Hela to save the Kingdom of Asgard. Mark Ruffalo said in an audio “Cate Blanchett’s character is the worst of the worst, totally evil.”
The movie will be more action packed and it will also be the shortest ever Marvel movie. In continuing with the traditions of Thor movies, Kenneth Branagh’s Thor was 114 minutes, Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World was 112 minutes long but Thor: Ragnarok will just have 100 minutes runtime. Taika Waititi said to Collider:
“The cut right now, I reckon it’s about 100 minutes. It’s not gonna be a very, very long film. I think that stories are better when you leave them wanting more, and this film moves at a clip, it’s got stuff happening all the time. I think people are still gonna feel exhausted by the end; they’ve been on this big journey and stuff, so I don’t think we need the film to be three hours”.
thor vs justice league
From the look and feel of it, it seems there are all the ingredients present in the movie to become a huge blockbuster. It is facing huge competition from DC’s most ambitious project Justice League which will release 2 weeks afterward. But there is no reason to feel concerned as Marvel has loyal audience worldwide. The movie will hit theatres on November 3, 2017
Thor Ragnarok Will Introduce Marvel Comics Most Bad-Ass Team of Warriors
For the past 9 months or so, the box-office collections are a mixed bag at best as there hasn’t been any movie which proved to be a smashing blockbuster. The first Thor movie opened to good box-office numbers, generated some interest in the character but then in 2013 Thor: The Dark World was quite disappointing. Most of the Marvel fans had written off Thor as a weak link of the MCU. But Ragnarok is bent on turning the tide and changing the perception of the fans.
The Marvel Studios has released a new teaser of the movie and it seems that we will see for the first time “The Revengers”, a team put together by Simon Williams after being disillusioned by the Avengers due to their major failings. She felt that Avengers had to be stopped and the new team has to be assembled to do the job.
Wonder Man is one of the top Avengers in the comic book world, but not active currently. At one point, he was disillusioned by the way the Avengers were causing more harm than doing good, pointing towards some problems like the Civil War, the Scarlet Witch’s insanity, Ultron, the Sentry and the Void. After confronting the team again, he decided to form a different team of lesser-known heroes and super villains, The Revengers. The first version of the team was formed to fight A-Next.
Disappointed by the Avengers’ feats, he called upon a former member of Masters of Evil and the Thunderbolts – Atlas, Goliath, Virtue, Captain Ultra, Demolition Man, Anit-Venom and persuaded them to fight gainsays Avengers. Wonder Man planned to target on some of their bases and properties. And the team gets ready to bring the so-called destruction to an end.
With their first plan in motion, Revengers headed towards the Avengers Mansion and also targeted New Avengers. But they didn’t attack it until Danielle Cage, daughter of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones came out it. And that’s when Revengers took no time to attack the mansion. As Avengers arrived the mansion in Quinjet, they are astonished to see their member taken down. As they asset then, they got to know that Atlas is destroying the Avengers Tower. As they reach the site, they find it empty with a minimal damage. Wonder Man’s motive to attack the tower was to call the Avengers for a conference.
As Avengers reach the conference, Wonder Man is seen standing in front of the New York Library where he threatens the Avengers and criticizes them for their operations. At the end, Avengers give them a choice to surrender or fight and that’s when Thor teleports them to a Citi Field, where they take down the Revengers.
Only time will tell as to how Thor: Ragnarok intends to use Revengers but this is very exciting nonetheless that they are going in this direction.

Here’s the official synopsis of the movie:
“Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally, and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization”.
